Hello again!
I'm going to start off by talking about gender differences.
First of all, the number one thing that occupies my brother Miles' mind is most probably football. He absolutely adores the game- in his spare time, he always goes out into the park to play it with the nieghbour's children. He even has it for Wii! He's obsessed with Arsenal and other football clubs- he knows a lot more than I give hm credit for- the other day I attempted to talk football to him, and he immediatley swamped me with a long explaination about the rivalries between certain clubs, and the differences between the Premier League and the World Cup.
Unfortuantley I didn't remember a word he said, except that Arsenal and Chelsea are enemies. I think.
The problem I have with football is nothing to do with the game- it's actually a respectable sport, but with the whole sytem that has been built up around it. Why spend millions buying a football player when that money could be used elsewhere, to more urgent causes? I just don't understand.
When I told Miles this, he just shook his head at me and walked off. Clearly there must be something I am missing.
Secondly, so called 'guy movies'. This phrase refers to typical films involving action and violence, etc. I like things like Spiderman, but when first viewing 'Captain America', I fell asleep. To be fair, so did my six year old brother Bill. And it was nine o'clock. On a school night. The next day Miles continuously lectured me about how I missed 'such a good movie', but when I re-watched it, it didn't appeal to me. It's probably just my personal taste in films, but it does cause petty quarrels between us.
Unfortunatley, I've got to go now- I'll finish this soon, promise!
Goodbye!
